Young Professionals in Finance is hosting Viva Las Dallas on Saturday, May 19th, 2012 at One McKinney Plaza. Proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas Scholarship Fund.
 
Each year, BGCD awards scholarships to graduating seniors enrolling in a college, university, technical school or trade school. Since 1977, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas has awarded over $500,000 in scholarships to members wishing to continue their education.
 
Young Professionals in Finance partners with BGCD by conducting a bi-weekly 1×1 mentoring program designed to help Dallas area high school students prepare for college academically, financially and mentally in addition to teaching basic financial skills. Most importantly, YPF mentors, composed of Dallas young professionals, act as a support system to their mentees and encourage them to realize their dreams.

One of our Texas-based clients has asked us to help them find a good green grad to join their team as a Financial Analyst. The prior Financial Analyst was promoted, opening up this position to be back-filled. The candidate will have key responsibilities covering: financial planning & analysis, management reporting, company’s strategic plan and M&A. The Financial Analyst will support the Planning and Treasury functions on an as-needed basis.
 
Ideal candidates will have 0-2 years of work experience. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Math or General Business displaying solid academic record and achievement from a recognizable university. Excellent analytical, quantitative and communication skills are a must.
